Ticket Resale

Overview

With Ticket Resale, Trainline allows users to resell unwanted tickets.
We conceptualised, designed and prototyped at pace. Relying heavily on competitor research, historic user testing, and my prior experience designing in-app economies, we produced a striking feature.

Approach

Our customer mapping identified key pain points relating to unwanted tickets. Generally, users feel afraid to buy tickets in advance, worrying that their plans will change. Our service blueprint accounts for three archetypal needs: browsing, buying and selling. To populate our economy and drive uptake, we place vibrant imagery at key touchpoints. Our content is modern and energetic, with key references to price appealing to 'savvy savers'.
